Otağtepe Fatih Grove

If you come to Istanbul, "Otağtepe Korusu (Otağtepe Grove)" (another name is Fatih Korusu) is one of the places you should visit. In İstanbul one of the places where you can see clearly the view of the Bosphorus.

Otağtepe is not a very crowded place. There is a chargeable car park if you go with a private car. Parking entrance fee is 10 TL. There are a few small ponds with miniature bridges and a few balconies to breathe.

But you do not have to make preparations to go. Because tea garden and eating areas in Otağtepe Korusu are unfortunately not found. So there is no space for picnicking or brewing tea.

Otağtepe Korusu is very close to the center. You can take a few photos of the scenery after eating your meal there and immortalize the moment.

Where is the Otağtepe Korusu? How to Go?
By private vehicle:
If you follow the Kavacık signs on the right side of the second bridge, you will be reached to Fatih Korusu.

By bus & minibus:
You can go Üsküdar from Besiktas by sea buses. From there, ride one of the buses which are going to Beykoz. After that get off from the bus in Anadolu Hisarı station. You can go to the Kavacık with the minibusses from here.
